Accountability

A central doctrinal concept in Mormonism, it connotes more than just the condition of being held responsible for something. It implies agency and choice and an expectation that God’s children will be answerable for how they live and what they devote their time and energy toward.

That everyone may act ... according to the moral agency which I have given unto them, that everyone may be accountable...
